Today Year 2 had a wonderful time walking through Hulme Woods, Denton, in search of human and physical features of the land.
The children had a terrific time working with their Kagan groups to spot them. They were able to find many human features, such as, the remains of the colliery boiler house in Hulme Pit, many small bridges and lots of signs to show you the way. They also found a range of physical features which are natural features of the land, including, the River Tame, tall towering trees, fields and many species of plants.
Thank you to all of the families who joined us and made this trip possible!
