In year 4 this week we have been learning all about the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, in particular we have been looking at different dance moves from these periods and how they have changed over time.
Click on the links below to take a look at the children trying out some of those moves.
in last weeks topic lesson we got to make Mayan pyramids out of Lego and we also had a compation for how’s was the best,me and my team made a pyramid and a house.for the pyramid or temple we had to get the big blocks and stack them up and to make the house we had to get a wall sort of thing and build round it.
Last week in topic we created Lego versions of Mayan temples in groups. My group made a mini temple and a treasure chest with a skull inside the temple. We also built a sacrifice table were the King -a skeleton- had to chop their body parts off. The Mayans lived long ago and some are classed as Mayans now and their pyramids were made of bare stone and they each had over 20 steps to reach the top. Every table was in the competition and we had to share the small amount of Lego. My city had a sacrifice table pyramid and a Mayan house.
