Millie’s blog: Egyptians

Egyptians lived off bread and vegetables.

Egyptians caught fish in the river Nile.

Egyptians made cheese from cow’s milk.

They slept on hay.

Egyptians drew hieroglyphics on rusty walls.

Egyptians built the pyramids, tomes, palaces and temples. It took hundreds of years and thousands of workers.

Egyptian mothers looked after their children and cooked family meals on rooftops.

Egyptians dint have money, instead they swapped goods of equal value at the markets.

In Egyptian society everybody knew their place.

A king or pharaoh looked after every Egyptian. They made laws and lead the army in to battle.

Servants and slaves are at the bottom of society. They work incredibly hard for their masters.

Ladies looked after their homes and children, they loved throwing parties too
