Please find below what we will be learning about:

Autumn 1

Maths:

Our featured texts will be Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett and The Lion and the Unicorn by Shirley Hughes. We will be looking at non-chronological reports and narrative writing in particular.

Topic: Invaders and Settlers – The Romans

We are starting with learning about the Romans. Who were they? Why did they invade? What happened and what did they do for us? We will be going to Chester for the Roman Experience and will be using the outdoor area to help support our learning. We will be acting out a funny play about Boudicca and learning who she was.

Please also learn to read and spell your year 3 and 4 words.
