Once again World Book Day is coming to Corrie Primary & Nursery School on Thursday 7th March. The children and staff will be taking part in fun activities aimed at making World Book Day extra special.
The theme this year is Share a Story and your child can dress up as any book character. The children will be having a costume parade in school. Please bring in £1 which we will donate to our school and school charity.
Every child will receive a £1 book token, which they can use to buy any of the special £1 books for sale in WHSmith, Waterstones and all good independent bookshops. They can use the token to pay towards the cost of a book too.
We will also be doing a 2 week readathon to raise money for our school and school charity.
